Forum Asset Management, LLC (Forum) is a global investment manager which identifies unique investment opportunities in various emerging market asset classes in order to obtain absolute returns for its investors. Forum believes that the best investment opportunities often lie in niches where there are inherent inefficiencies to exploit. The firm's philosophy places a high value on returns which are uncorrelated to the traditional markets. The firm's portfolio managers utilize a top-down macroeconomic and bottom-up fundamental analysis to identify attractive risk-reward opportunities. Forum's team of senior professionals has more than 100 years of collective investment and financial industry experience, with significant expertise in emerging markets, and has built an impressive track record over the past 9 years. Over two decades the management team of Forum has built one of the firm's greatest resources: a vast network of alliances and contacts in South and Central America, Eastern Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Asia. These alliances enable a primary source of deal flow (origination), access to privileged macro and political insights, and local oversight of investment.

Forum is an SEC-registered investment advisor and currently manages four strategies all focused primarily on emerging markets: long-short credit/distressed, global macro, an asset based lending strategy in Latin America, and a physical agricultural commodity trading strategy in the CIS. Forum's success can be attributed to an experienced management team, a solid investment methodology and a unique risk management approach. Forum combines these features with a transparency second to none, enabling its investor's to understand and follow the entire investment process. Forum is prudent in the conservative approach it takes towards investments.  Futhermore, the Forum Funds do not employ traditional leverage.  This prudent investment style within stringent risk management guidlines is a cornerstone to Forum's investment philosophy as evidenced by the fact that none of the four Forum funds have had a negative year of investment performance on a calendar year basis.  In fact, 2008 provided valuable testimony to Forum's prudent investment style and risk management philosophy as all of its funds posted positive results despite the upheaval in global financial markets, and emerging markets in particular.
